SPACE EXPLORERS WORKSHOP | Grades 1 to 8
A Journey From The Moon To The Stars And Time!
Our school successfully organized an exciting and immersive Space Explorer Workshop for all students from Grades 1 to 8, where learning went truly out of the world!
Grades 1 & 2 | India's Proud Mission to the Moon - Chandrayaan
Our youngest explorers discovered India's glorious journey to the Moon! Through stories and visuals, they learned about ISRO's Chandrayaan missions. The highlight was Chandrayaan-3, which made India the first country in the world to land on the Moon's South Pole. They were thrilled to meet Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover - our heroes on the Moon. It filled every little heart with pride!
Grades 3 to 5 | SPACE EXPLORERS: Chasing Constellations and the Pole Star!
Our young astronomers blasted off on a stellar adventure! The theme was Constellations and the Pole Star. They discovered how ancient stargazers joined the dots to create pictures in the sky - from the mighty Great Bear (Saptarishi) to the sparkling Orion. They also met the hero of the night sky, the Pole Star (Dhruva Tara) - the one star that never moves and guides us. Learning turned into play with a fun constellation game, space riddles, and a hands-on activity where they made their own star boards. Each child was gifted a special Space Explorer Kit to continue their journey at home.
Grades 6 to 8 | The Magic of Sundial - Telling Time With The Sun
Our senior explorers went back in time to discover the science of time! They learned how ancient civilizations used the Sun's shadow to tell time before clocks were invented. Through a hands-on activity, students created their own Sundials and understood concepts of Earth's rotation, shadows, and solar time. It was a perfect blend of science, history, and maths!
From the Moon to the Stars to the Sun, the entire workshop sparked curiosity, imagination and scientific temper in our students. It was a day where learning truly touched the stars!
