Gaurs International School successfully conducted a Capacity Building Programme on Life Skills on 21st February 2026 at the New Auditorium under the aegis of CBSE. The enriching session was facilitated by esteemed resource persons Mr. Divy Bansal and Mr. Mohit Sharma.
The workshop underscored the pivotal role of life skills in fostering the holistic development of students. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, emphasis was placed on essential 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and digital literacy.
A thoughtful distinction between soft skills and hard skills was explored, with a strong focus on integrating both seamlessly into classroom pedagogy. Through interactive activities, group discussions, and case studies, educators gained practical strategies to effectively address classroom challenges while promoting student mental health and well-being.
The session also highlighted the importance of nurturing safe and inclusive learning environments, recognising early indicators of stress, and adopting diverse assessment tools such as observation techniques, rubrics, and peer feedback to evaluate life skills development.
The programme proved to be highly engaging and insightful, equipping our educators with meaningful strategies to support students’ overall growth and emotional resilience.
